Gelatinase expression and proteolytic activity in giant-cell arteritis
Objectives: Gelatinases (MMP2 and MMP9) are expressed in giant-cell arteritis (GCA) and are thought to play a role in vessel disruption. However, their activation status and enzymatic activity have not been evaluated.

Adsorption and inactivation of proteolytic enzymes by Triaenophorus nodulosus (Cestoda)
The proteolytic activity in washings off the Triaenophorus nodulosus cestode tegument and the ability of the worms to inactivate proteolytic enzymes were studied.

Sweetosomes, a new class of fucose‐decorated liposomes, are developed via a one‐step microfluidic process without surface chemistry. This study elucidates their main caveolae‐mediated entry and distinct endosomal trafficking. These nanostructures demonstrate superior endosomal escape, organelle acidity modulation, and prolonged plasma persistence ...

Proteolytic activity of diphtheria toxin
Purified samples of diphtheria toxin spitted human fibrinogen, human serum albumin and gelatin. Splitting was completely inhibited by nitrotetrazolium blue (0.01 mol) but no other active oxygen species.

Self‐assembled, scaffold‐free full‐thickness skin equivalents with monoclonal, genetically modified N/TERT‐1 keratinocytes represent a novel in vitro model of human skin and skin diseases. The model is highly robust, reproducible, physiologically relevant, and suitable for high‐throughput applications.
