Kolmogorov Space in Time Series Data [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We provide the proof that the space of time series data is a Kolmogorov space with $T_{0}$-separation axiom using the loop space of time series data. In our approach we define a cyclic coordinate of intrinsic time scale of time series data after empirical mode decomposition.

A national study of plasma use in critical care: clinical indications, dose and effect on prothrombin time

open access: yesCritical Care, 2011
IntroductionFresh frozen plasma (FFP) is widely used, but few studies have described patterns of plasma use in critical care. We carried out a multicentre study of coagulopathy in intensive care units (ICUs) and here describe overall FFP utilisation in ...

Blood coagulation parameters in fallow deer (Dama dama)

open access: yesVeterinární Medicína, 2011
There are frequent reports from around the world of wild animals being poisoned with anticoagulants. Granulated baits can result in primary or secondary poisoning of non-target animals.

Hubungan Hiperglikemia dengan Prothrombin Time pada Mencit (Mus musculus) yang Diinduksi Aloksan

open access: yesJurnal Kesehatan Andalas, 2015

Clinical profile, short and long‐term outcomes of non‐ischaemic cardiogenic shock: A FRENSHOCK sub‐analysis

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, EarlyView.
Abstract Aims Although predominant in routine practice, non‐ischaemic cardiogenic shock (NICS) remains underrepresented in past studies, mainly focused on ischaemic cardiogenic shock (CS). This study aims to describe the current NICS picture and define its independent correlates of short‐ and long‐term outcomes.

Canonical Forms of $2 \times 2 \times 2$ and $2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2$ Symmetric Tensors over Prime Fields [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2012
We consider symmetric tensors of format $2 \times 2 \times 2$ and $2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2$ over prime fields. Using computer algebra we compute the canonical forms of these tensors. For $2 \times 2 \times 2$ symmetric tensors, we consider the prime fields $\mathbb{F}_p$ for $p = 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17$.

Long‐term outcomes of electrical storm patients listed for urgent heart transplantation but not transplanted acutely

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, EarlyView.
Abstract Aims Refractory electrical storm (ES) is a life‐threatening condition in which heart transplantation (HTx) can be proposed. Nevertheless, the shortage of donors and subsequent outcomes question its place as a rescue strategy. We aim to describe the prognosis of ES patients listed for HTx but not transplanted.

Time Operators and Time Crystals [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2017
We investigate time operators in the context of quantum time crystals in ring systems. A generalized commutation relation called the generalized weak Weyl relation is used to derive a class of self-adjoint time operators for ring systems with a periodic time evolution: The conventional Aharonov-Bohm time operator is obtained by taking the infinite ...

Reversal of Rivaroxaban and Dabigatran by Prothrombin Complex Concentrate: A Randomized, Placebo-Controlled, Crossover Study in Healthy Subjects

open access: yesCirculation, 2011
Background— Rivaroxaban and dabigatran are new oral anticoagulants that specifically inhibit factor Xa and thrombin, respectively. Clinical studies on the prevention and treatment of venous and arterial thromboembolism show promising results.

Biomaterials‐Involved Construction of Extracellular Matrices for Tumor Blockade Therapy

open access: yesExploration, EarlyView.
Extracellular matrices (ECMs) play a crucial role in tumor growth and metastases by providing structural support and facilitating tumor cell proliferation. In this review, we explore the development of artificial ECMs engineered through biomineralization, fibrogenesis, and gelation. These bioinspired ECMs create a protective barrier around tumor cells,
