ABSTRACT This study investigated the function of epididymal extracellular vesicles (EVs) in overcoming sperm post‐testicular modification deficiencies. Although EVs derived from the epididymis play a crucial role in intercellular communication and molecular exchange, there is limited research addressing how EVs released by in vitro cultured epididymal ...

Omega-3-PUFA, omega-6-PUFA and mitochondrial dysfunction in relation to remodelling
Metabolic syndrome may be a disease of the brain related to Western diet-induced proinflammatory damage of the arcuate nucleus and POMC neurons in the brain, as well as to damage of beta cells in the pancreas. Consumption of a Western diet and eating late at night can double the adverse effects of diet by causing systemic inflammation and damage to the

Sympatric bat species can co‐exist and avoid interspecific competition via niche differentiation e.g. diet. Detecting dietary differences can be achieved by comparing dietary niches of sympatric and allopatric populations. If dietary overlap is higher in sympatry versus allopatry, co‐occurrence may be altering the dietary niche of the species.

High altitudes are challenging for the animals that inhabit these environments. The Xizang plateau frog (Nanorana parkeri) survives in high‐altitude environments through a synergistic strategy of metabolic remodeling and protein expression adjustment to optimize energy efficiency and enhance cellular protection.

The role of iron in normal and impaired testicular function
Abstract Iron plays a critical role in testicular physiology, impacting spermatogenesis, testosterone production, and overall testicular function. Iron homeostasis is maintained through systemic and cellular regulatory mechanisms, including hepcidin‐mediated systemic iron control and the iron‐responsive element/iron regulatory protein (IRE/IRP) system ...

Is there a role for cannabidiol in obesity, metabolic syndrome and binge eating?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the most abundant phytocannabinoids isolated from the Cannabis sativa plant. CBD is a lipophilic, non‐intoxicating substance that differently from Δ9‐tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9‐THC) does not present the typical profile of a drug of abuse.
