Metodom elektronske spinske rezonancije uz uporabu galvinoksil radikala otopljenog u izooktanu uspoređivana je antioksidacijska aktivnost bučinog ulja različitih proizvođača. Metoda se pokazala dovoljno osjetljivom za praćenje razlika u aktivnosti ulja obzirom na različiti nalin prerade koštica.
