Investigation on the Mobile Wheeled Robot in Terms of Energy Consumption, Travelling Time and Path Matching Accuracy

open access: yesEnergies, 2023
The task of controlling a wheeled mobile robot is an important element of navigation algorithms. The control algorithm manages the robot’s movement in accordance with the path determined by the planner module, where the accuracy of mapping the given ...

CF-Pursuit: A Pursuit Method with a Clothoid Fitting and a Fuzzy Controller for Autonomous Vehicles

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems, 2015
Simple and efficient geometric controllers, like Pure-Pursuit, have been widely used in various types of autonomous vehicles to solve tracking problems. In this paper, we have developed a new pursuit method, named CF-Pursuit, which has been based on Pure-

Path tracking control of crawler mobile platform based on bang-bang control with boundary layer

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2021
In order to realize the path tracking of the on-off valve-controlled crawler mobile platform that cannot be closed-loop speed regulated, considering the low speed of the platform and the ability to turn in place, a bang-bang path tracking control ...

Driverless Bus Path Tracking Based on Fuzzy Pure Pursuit Control with a Front Axle Reference

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
Currently, since the model of a driverless bus is not clear, it is difficult for most traditional path tracking methods to achieve a trade-off between accuracy and stability, especially in the case of driverless buses. In terms of solving this problem, a

Comparative Study of Path Tracking Controllers on Low Friction Roads for Autonomous Vehicles

open access: yesMachines, 2023
This paper presents a comparison among path tracking controllers on low-friction roads for autonomous vehicles. There are two goals in this paper. The first is to check the performance of path tracking controllers on low-friction roads, and the second is

PURsuit of Endocrinology (PURE): A national survey among first-year endocrinology residents across India

open access: yesIndian Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism, 2023
Background: Endocrinology has been a popular choice of super-specialisation in India in recent years. The PURsuit of Endocrinology (PURE) survey aims to determine the factors that facilitated the selection of endocrinology as the area of super ...

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

A study on the improvement of the Pure Pursuit Method (Analysis of a tracking system using the Dual Preview Points Method)

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu
The Pure Pursuit method has been widely used as a standard approach in many autonomous vehicles due to its ease of implementation and low computational cost.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
