Construction of pursuit strategies with using Lyapunov functions
This paper is concerned with differential pursuit-evasion games, in which several agents chase one. The time of capture of a target is used as the criterion. The motion of agents is simple one, the velocities are piecewise-continuous.

Probabilistic strategies to coordinate multiple robotic pursuers in pursuit-evasion games
This paper examines the problem of coordinating multiple robotic pursuers in locating and tracking a non-adversarial mobile evader in a dynamic environment. We have proposed a probabilistic and distributed algorithm in this paper.

Pursuit-Evasion Games Using Sensor Networks (MAS 11) [PDF]
We investigate the differential pursuit-evasion games between multiple pursuers and multiple evaders. Pursuers make use of a hierarchical sensor network embedded in the environment in order to perceive the evader locations.

ABSTRACT Predicting corporate environmental violations remains a key challenge in practice and in environmental governance research. However, existing studies have largely focused on ex post associations between stakeholder pressures and realized environmental violations, offering limited insight into whether stakeholder pressures can be used ex ante ...

Pursuit-Evasion Games and Zero-sum Two-person Differential Games [PDF]
International audienceDifferential games arose from the investigation, by Rufus Isaacs in the 50's, of pursuit-evasion problems. In these problems, closed-loop strategies are of the essence, although defining what is exactly meant by this phrase, and ...

Shy couplings, CAT(0) spaces, and the lion and man [PDF]
Two random processes X and Y on a metric space are said to be ε-shy coupled if there is positive probability of them staying at least a positive distance ε apart from each other forever.

The Dark Side of Leadership: CEO Narcissism and the Quality of Climate‐Related Financial Disclosures
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the impact of narcissistic Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) on the quality of corporate climate‐related financial disclosure as required by the Task Force on Climate‐related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) framework. Using a sample of S&P 1500 firms, the analysis tests the association between principal component‐based two ...
