Research on Pursuit-evasion Games with Multiple Heterogeneous Pursuers and A High Speed Evader

open access: yes, 2015
We deal with Pursuit-evasion games with a high speed evader which has superiority in velocity over a group of heterogeneous pursuers in this paper. Heterogeneity in the group of pursuers is expressed as heterogeneity in the individual maximum speeds.

Immigration detention centers as torturing environments: Ethical reckonings, radical refusals, and implications for a psychology of resistance

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Community Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract This paper examines psychologists' ethical dilemmas in immigration detention centers. Using critical psychology, border, and detention scholarship, it highlights psychologists' historical complicity in state violence, from the U.S. Enhanced Interrogation Program to current border regimes.

Ac‐SDKP modulates apoptosis via HSP27 and the FAS/FASL and mitochondrial axes

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
Schematic diagram of Ac‐SDKP regulating the FAS/FASL and mitochondrial apoptosis pathways via HSP27. Ac‐SDKP inhibits HSP27 expression, activates the FAS/FASL pathway and Caspase‐3 signaling, increases Caspase‐8 and Caspase‐3 expression, and induces cell apoptosis.

A Class of Pursuit Problems in 3D Space via Noncooperative Stochastic Differential Games

open access: yesAerospace
This paper investigates three-dimensional pursuit problems in noncooperative stochastic differential games. By introducing a novel polynomial value function capable of addressing high-dimensional dynamic systems, the forward–backward stochastic ...

Solving Large-Scale Pursuit-Evasion Games Using Pre-trained Strategies

open access: yes, 2023
Pursuit-evasion games on graphs model the coordination of police forces chasing a fleeing felon in real-world urban settings, using the standard framework of imperfect-information extensive-form games (EFGs).

Model checking knowledge in pursuit-evasion games

open access: yes, 2011
In a pursuit-evasion game, one or more pursuers aim to discover the existence of, and then capture, an evader. The paper studies pursuit-evasion games in which players may have incomplete information concerning the game state. A methodology is pre-sented

GUARANTEED STRATEGIES FOR NONLINEAR MULTI-PLAYER PURSUIT-EVASION GAMES

open access: yes, 2010
In this paper, we provide a methodology to design strategies for either guaranteed capture or guaranteed evasion in the case of pursuit-evasion games with multiple players which are represented by nonlinear dynamic models.

The Barrier in a pursuit-evasion game with two targets

open access: yesComputers & Mathematics with Applications, 1987
For a nonlinear differential game of pursuit-evasion the notion of semi- barriers for both players is considered. The boundaries of winning regions are shown to be semi-barriers. It is proved that the intersection of the semi-barriers is non-empty and is the barrier for the problem.
