Incremental Sampling-Based Algorithms for a Class of Pursuit-Evasion Games [PDF]
Pursuit-evasion games have been used for modeling various forms of conflict arising between two agents modeled as dynamical systems. Although analytical solutions of some simple pursuit-evasion games are known, most interesting instances can only be ...

Chronobiology of Cancer: How Aging Fuels Oncogenesis at the Molecular Level
This graphical abstract illustrates the key biological pathways linking aging with cancer development and progression. In the upper left, cumulative exposure to ultraviolet radiation, toxins, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) causes DNA damage and genomic instability, whereas age‐related decline in repair mechanisms, such as ATM/ATR, BER, and NER ...

Dense tactile streams from across the humanoid body converge on collide in a central wiring and data bottleneck. By relocating computation closer to and then into the skin itself, near‐ and in‐sensor architectures, together with neuromorphic computing, chart a path toward perception‐native electronic skin, in which the conversion of stimulus into ...

This review highlights an emerging anticancer approach integrating platinum agents into photodynamic therapy (PDT) and photoactivated chemotherapy (PACT) systems, further augmented by cancer cell membrane‐ and organelle‐targeting. By directing photoactivated platinum complexes from nontargeted distribution to cancer cells or defined subcellular sites ...

Intelligent Sky Guardians (InSkyGuard) is introduced as a four‐drone swarm that autonomously detects, tracks, and safely captures rogue drones using a coordinated net system. Computer vision and leader–follower control architecture enable synchronized enclosure, while integrated failsafes enhance system reliability. Validated through closed‐environment

Anti‐PD‐1/PD‐L1 blockade has revolutionized cancer immunotherapy, but is ineffective against endocrine‐treated (i.e., Tamoxifen), relapsed ER+ breast cancer (BC) patients. This study provides insight into the sub‐optimal response of ER+BCs to anti‐PD‐1/PD‐L1 blockade – highlighting the induction of STING and the CEACAM1/TIM3 axis after chronic ...

Cancer stem cells (CSCs) drive metastasis, relapse and resist conventional apoptosis‐inducing chemotherapies. We report a cobalt(III)‐cyclam complex with pyrene and diflunisal moieties that reduces the viability of breast CSCs at low micromolar concentrations.

Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) show promise for treating immune‐related disorders through immunomodulation and tissue regeneration. This review gives a brief overview of current clinical approval of MSC therapies. It also discussed how bioengineering, including genetic modification, biomaterial delivery, extracellular vesicles, and iPSC‐derived MSCs,

On the value of information in a differential pursuit-evasion game [PDF]
In this paper, we address the pursuit/evasion problem of capturing an omnidirectional evader using a Differential Drive Robot (DDR) in an obstacle-free environment. The goal of the evader is to keep the pursuer farther than the capture distance for as long as possible and for the pursuer the goal is to capture the evader as soon as possible.
