A multistep continuous flow synthesis machine for the preparation of pyrazoles via a metal-free amine-redox process. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
A versatile multistep continuous flow setup is reported for the four-step conversion of anilines into pyrazole products. The synthesis machine incorporates the use of amine-redox chemistry through diazotization and a metal-free vitamin C mediated ...

Sustainable Hydrogen Production by Glycerol and Monosaccharides Catalytic Acceptorless Dehydrogenation (AD) in Homogeneous Phase

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 18, Issue 6, March 15, 2025.
Sustainable hydrogen production can be obtained from hydogen‐rich biomass‐derived organic molecules through Acceptorless Dehydrogenation (AD) reactions. Glycerol and sugars are available in large quantities from industry and can be successfully used as substrates in AD protocols, in the presence of tailored, selective, easily tunable and thermally ...

Expanded Scorpionate and Siderophore‐Inspired Ligands: From Foundational Designs to Modern Applications

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, EarlyView.
The concept of scorpionate ligands has evolved significantly since the introduction of tris(pyrazolyl)borate. By integrating a biological supramolecular ligand scaffold with the classic scorpionate architecture, researchers have made notable strides in mimicking the active sites of nitrogenase and advancing homogeneous catalysis.

Correlation Between the Molecular Structure of Metal‐Supporting Ligands and Catalysis in the Oxygenase‐Mimicking Immobilized Metal Complex Catalysts

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, EarlyView.
The correlation between the structures of metal complexes immobilized in the mesopores of hydrophobically modified silicate supports was examined in relation to the catalytic activities toward C‐H oxidation. On the alkene oxidation with H2O2, the iron catalyst bearing bis(imidazolyl)methane ligand promotes allylic oxidation, whereas the mononuclear ...

Phosphorescent Platinum(II) Complexes With Diazinedipyrrolide Pincer Ligands: Structure and Photophysical Properties

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, EarlyView.
A new family of phosphorescent Pt(II) complexes with pyrimidinedipyrrolide ligands, including a pyrazine analog, was designed and synthesized. Their emission properties can be finely tuned via ligand modification, revealing strong phosphorescence originating from intraligand charge transfer transitions.

Synthesis of Novel Nitro-substituted Triaryl Pyrazole Derivatives as Potential Estrogen Receptor Ligands

open access: yesMolecules, 2007
Novel tetrasubstituted pyrazole derivatives bearing a nitro substituent on their A-phenol ring were synthesized and their binding affinity towards the estrogen receptor (ER) subtypes ERα and ERβ was determined.
