The illustration of health benefits of Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis NJ241 isolated from naturally fermented bovine milk. Integrative approaches unraveled that daily supplementation with Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis NJ241 could markedly suppress colitis‐linked reproductive disorders through the gut‐testis axis.

Large presence of carbonic acid in CO$_2$-rich aqueous fluids under Earth's mantle conditions [PDF]
The chemistry of carbon in aqueous fluids at extreme pressure and temperature conditions is of great importance to Earth's deep carbon cycle, which substantially affects the carbon budget at Earth's surface and global climate change. At ambient conditions, the concentration of carbonic acid in water is negligible, so aqueous carbonic acid was simply ...

SYISL knockout significantly promotes embryonic muscle development and increases muscle fiber numbers of offspring by modulating maternal gut microbiota composition and butyrate‐HDAC‐H3K9ac/H3K27ac pathway. Furthermore, scRNA‐seq analysis shows that SYISL knockout alone significantly increases the number and proportion of myogenic cells and their ...

Carbon Doping of MgB2 by Toluene and Malic-Acid-in-Toluene [PDF]
The decomposition of malic acid in the presence of Mg and B was studied using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) which revealed that malic acid reacted with Mg but not B. Also, the addition of toluene to dissolve malic acid followed by subsequent drying resulted in no reaction with Mg, indicating that the malic

The measurement of endogenous biomarkers in plasma and urine before and after administration of an investigational drug in a clinical study may provide an early indication of its drug–drug interaction (DDI) potential via a specific pathway. In the first international harmonized guideline on drug interaction studies, the International Council for ...

A search for mid-IR bands of amino acids in the Perseus Molecular Cloud [PDF]
Amino acids are building-blocks of proteins, basic constituents of all organisms and essential to life on Earth. They are present in carbonaceous chondrite meteorites and comets, but their origin is still unknown. Formation of amino acids in the interstellar medium is posible via specific gas-phase reactions in dark clouds, however sensitive ...

This study was designed to assess the quantitative performance of endogenous drug–drug interaction (DDI) biomarkers (N1‐methylnicotinamide (1‐NMN), N1‐methyladenosine (m1A), and creatinine) for the organic cation transporters, OCT2 and MATE1/2K in the kidney.
