Selectively reductive amination of levulinic acid with aryl amines to N-substituted aryl pyrroles
Synthesizing nitrogen (N)-containing molecules from biomass derivatives is a new strategy for production of this kind of chemicals. Herein, for the first time we present the synthesis of N-substituted aryl pyrroles via reductive amination/cyclization of ...

Atom Economical Multi-Substituted Pyrrole Synthesis from Aziridine
Multi-substituted pyrroles are synthesized from regiospecific aziridine ring-opening and subsequent intramolecular cyclization with a carbonyl group at the γ-position in the presence of Lewis acid or protic acid.

Synthesis of Tetrasubstituted Pyrroles from Terminal Alkynes and Imines [PDF]
Tetrasubstituted pyrroles can be obtained via the reaction of terminal alkynes and Imines using (BuLi)-Bu-n as the base In one step with high chemoselectivity (method 1).

Electrochemically Induced N-Alkylation of Pyrroles [PDF]
Electrochemically generated tetraethylammonium peroxy- corresponding N-alkylated pyrroles in high yields. C- Alkylated pyrroles have not been isolated in any casedicarbonate (TEAPC) and tetraethylammonium carbonate (TEAC) react under very mild ...

Effect of Substituents of Cerium Pyrazolates and Pyrrolates on Carbon Dioxide Activation
Homoleptic ceric pyrazolates (pz) Ce(RR’pz)4 (R = R’ = tBu; R = R’ = Ph; R = tBu, R’ = Me) were synthesized by the protonolysis reaction of Ce[N(SiHMe2)2]4 with the corresponding pyrazole derivative.

Photocatalytic Alkylation of Pyrroles and Indoles with α-Diazo Esters [PDF]
This article describes direct photoalkylation of electron-rich aromatic compounds with diazo compoiunds. C-2 alkylated indoles and pyrroles are obtained with good yields even though the photocatalyst (Ru(bpy)3Cl2) loading is as low as 0.075 mol %.
