Single-Molecule Analysis of i-motif Within Self-Assembled DNA Duplexes and Nanocircles [PDF]
The cytosine (C)-rich sequences that can fold into tetraplex structures known as i-motif are prevalent in genomic DNA. Recent studies of i-motif–forming sequences have shown increasing evidence of their roles in gene regulation.

Homologous Pairing between Long DNA Double Helices
Molecular recognition between two double stranded (ds) DNA with homologous sequences may not seem compatible with the B-DNA structure because the sequence information is hidden when it is used for joining the two strands.

Processing of G4 DNA by Dna2 Helicase/nuclease and RPA provides insights into the mechanism of Dna2/RPA substrate recognition [PDF]
The polyguanine-rich DNA sequences commonly found at telomeres and in rDNA arrays have been shown to assemble into structures known as G quadruplexes, or G4 DNA, stabilized by base-stacked G quartets, an arrangement of four hydrogen-bonded guanines.

G-quartet biomolecular nanowires
We present a first-principle investigation of quadruple helix nanowires, consisting of stacked planar hydrogen-bonded guanine tetramers. Our results show that long wires form and are stable in potassium-rich conditions.

Our coaxial electrospinning system is capable of incorporating decellularized myocardial extracellular matrix in a core‐sheath configuration, creating nanofibrous scaffolds. These scaffolds, in turn, support the maintenance of functional cardiomyocytes adhered to the surface of these bioactive scaffolds.
