A comprehensive approach utilizing quantum machine learning in the study of corrosion inhibition on quinoxaline compounds

open access: yesArtificial Intelligence Chemistry
In this investigation, a quantitative structure-property relationship (QSPR) model coupled with a quantum neural network (QNN) was used to explore the corrosion inhibition efficiency (CIE) of quinoxaline compounds. Integrating quantum chemical properties

Development and Evaluation of Elastomeric Materials for Geothermal Applications [PDF]

open access: yes
A material was formulated having about 250-350 psi tensile strength and 30-80 percent elongation at 260 C for at least 24 hours in simulated brine. The relationship between these laboratory test results and sealing performance in actual or simulated test

Antioxidant Activity and Oxidation Products of 1,2,3,4- Tetrahydroquinoxalines in Peroxyl Radical Scavenging Reactions, Part I [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
This paper studies the antioxidant activity of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinolines, 3,4-dihydro-2H-benzo[1,4]thiazines and 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoxalines in the inhibition of the peroxidation of tetralin induced by an azo initiator.

Development of Double Fence Porphyrins as Self‐Assembled Monolayers for Tin‐Based Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesSmall, Volume 21, Issue 27, July 10, 2025.
A series of D–π–A porphyrin derivatives are designed as self‐assembled monolayers (SAMs) to enhance the performance for tin‐based perovskite solar cells. The best SAM has the double fence structure to deliver a great power conversion efficiency of 8.65%, which is the record for porphyrin‐based SAMs in lead‐free perovskite photovoltaics. Abstract The MC‐

GABAB Receptors Mediate Intracellular Calcium Release in Astrocytes of the Prefrontal Cortex

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Neuroscience, Volume 62, Issue 1, July 2025.
We took advantage of GLAST‐promoter driven GCaMP6s expression in astrocytes to study Ca2+ signaling in astrocytes of the young adult prefrontal cortex in response to GABA with confocal Ca2+ imaging. The results show that GABA induces Ca2+ signaling via the stimulation of the metabotropic GABAB receptor in astrocytes.

Benzochalcogenodiazoles, Synthesis, and Applications in Medicinal Chemistry and Photomedicine

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 28, Issue 23, June 23, 2025.
Benzochalcogenodiazoles (BXD) including benzoxadiazoles, benzothiadiazoles, and benzoselenadiazoles are initially mainly designed for optoelectronic materials as electron‐deficient cores. Nevertheless, they are now extending their application to biology.

Polyphenylquinoxalines via aromatic nucleophilic displacement [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
Polyphenylquinoxalines are prepared by the nucleophilic displacement reaction of di(hydroxyphenyl)quinoxaline monomers with activated aromatic dihalides or dinitro compounds.
