Role of Racecadotril in Children with Acute Diarrhea

open access: yesDhaka Shishu (Children) Hospital Journal, 2021
Background: Diarrhea is a leading cause of illness and death among children in developing countries. Racecadotril (acetorphan), an enkephalinase inhibitor with antisecretory and anti-diarrheal actions, is an effective and safe treatment for acute diarrhea in adults and children. Objectives: The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy ...

Determination of racecadotril by HPLC in capsules

open access: yesIndian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 2007
A simple, precise and rapid RP-HPLC method was developed for the determination of racecadotril in a pharmaceutical formulation using gemfibrozil as internal standard. Ratio of the peak area of analyte to internal standard was used for quantification. The chromatographic separation was carried out by using a Reverse Phase C18 column (BDS-Hypersil).

Rethinking the AI Paradigm for Solubility Prediction of Drug‑Like Compounds with Dual‐Perspective Modeling and Experimental Validation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 46, December 11, 2025.
Aqueous solubility governs drug delivery and bioavailability, yet its prediction remains challenging. Utilizing the largest curated dataset of drug‐like molecules, prediction models are constructed through dual‐perspective benchmarking. Stacking methods outperform advanced deep learning due to data constraints. These validated models enabled systematic

Amyloidosis for the Gastroenterologist: A Comprehensive Systematic Review of Diagnosis and Management of Gastrointestinal Manifestations

open access: yesJournal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Volume 40, Issue 12, Page 2842-2856, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Background Amyloidosis is a rare, multisystem disorder characterized by extracellular deposition of misfolded protein fibrils. Gastrointestinal (GI) amyloidosis is uncommon but under‐recognized due to nonspecific symptoms, but early diagnosis is critical to improve quality of life and prognosis.
