Design, Synthesis, and Selective Antiproliferative Activity of Indolizine Derivatives as Microtubule Destabilizers

open access: yesArchiv der Pharmazie, Volume 358, Issue 12, December 2025.
A series of indolizine derivatives was synthesized and biologically evaluated. Compounds 8e and 8h showed nanomolar antiproliferative activity against cancer cells and low toxicity to normal cells. They act as microtubule‐destabilizing agents, inducing G2/M arrest and modulating key proteins. Docking confirmed binding at the colchicine site of tubulin.

Selection of DNA Aptamers Against Parathyroid Hormone for Electrochemical Impedimetric Biosensor System Development

open access: yesBiotechnology and Applied Biochemistry, Volume 72, Issue 5, Page 1351-1362, October 2025.
ABSTRACT This work presents the pioneering development of an aptamer‐based electrochemical biosensor for real‐time monitoring of parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels, with a focus on intraoperative assessment during parathyroid surgery. It introduces, for the first time, the selection and characterization of aptamers targeting distinct segments of the PTH ...

COX inhibition: Catalepsy and Striatum Dopaminergic-GABAergic-Glutamatergic Neurotransmission [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Selective COX-2 and COX-1 inhibitors were administered (i.p. acutely) to normal and parkinsonian rats, followed by the analysis of the striatal dopamine, GABA and glutamate concentrations using the microdialysis technique, simultaneously, the catalepsy ...

Superparamagnetic Iron Oxide Tracer: A Magnetic Match to Gold Standard in Melanoma Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy—A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Surgical Oncology, Volume 132, Issue 5, Page 860-868, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Superparamagnetic iron oxide (SPIO) tracer is a potential option for sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB), though its application in melanoma remains minimally explored. This systematic review evaluated the use of SPIO tracer compared to the standard approach for SLNB in melanoma.

Development of Carborane‐Based Halogenated Naphthyridinone‐Analogues as Cannabinoid Receptor Type 2 (CB2R) Ligands

open access: yesChemMedChem, Volume 20, Issue 17, September 11, 2025.
There is no suitable radioligand for positron emission tomography imaging of CB2R overexpression for routine clinical usage. Herein, the synthesis, characterization, binding affinity, and docking studies of carborane‐based halo‐substituted naphthyridinone derivatives as CB2R ligands are presented.
