Exceptional covers and bijections on rational points
We show that if f: X --> Y is a finite, separable morphism of smooth curves defined over a finite field F_q, where q is larger than an explicit constant depending only on the degree of f and the genus of X, then f maps X(F_q) surjectively onto Y(F_q) if ...

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

Rational torsion points on abelian surfaces with quaternionic multiplication
Let A be an abelian surface over ${\mathbb {Q}}$ whose geometric endomorphism ring is a maximal order in a non-split quaternion algebra. Inspired by Mazur’s theorem for elliptic curves, we show that the torsion subgroup of $A({\mathbb {Q}})$

Interpolation method for quaternionic-Bezier curves
We study rational quaternionic-Bézier curves in three dimensional space. We construct the quadratic quaternionic-Bézier curve which interpolates five points, or three points and two tangent vectors.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

(G,F)-points on ℚ-algebraic varieties [PDF]
Let ℚ be the field of rational numbers, and let C be an algebraically closed field containing ℚ. Let G ∈ ℚ[x,y,z] be a polynomial, then the zero set of G is Z(G) = {P ∈ Cⁿ | G(P) = 0}.

Density of rational points on Enriques surfaces
Let $X$ be an Enriques surface defined over a number field $K$. Then there exists a finite extension $K'/K$ such that the set of $K'$-rational points of $X$ is Zariski dense.Comment: 8 pages ...

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.
