Reactive crowdsourcing

Proceedings of the 22nd international conference on World Wide Web, 2013
An essential aspect for building effective crowdsourcing com- putations is the ability of "controlling the crowd", i.e. of dynamically adapting the behaviour of the crowdsourcing systems as response to the quantity and quality of completed tasks or to the availability and reliability of performers.

Reactivity Hypothesis adult reactivity versus child reactivity

The phenomenom of reactivity is such that if one tells a person that the person is recorded each time the person says the word 'like' the person is saying it less than if the person would have not known the word is going to be recorded, i.e. the person being monitored. A good example is described in the book David H. Barlow & V. Mark Durand, 2012, 2009

Reactive scattering

1991
Abstract Three topics in reactive scattering are discussed. The first concerns nearside–farside theory, taken from the nuclear physics literature, for the interpretation of reactive differential cross-sections. The second section describes recent progress in the prediction and interpretation of geometric phase effects, including an ...

Reactive Parricide

Journal of Forensic Sciences, 1976
Abstract This paper describes a variety of homicide characterized by an element of reality in resorting to the killing of a parent. It deals with families marked by the presence of what I call catastrophic conflict. This term denotes a conflict which exceeds the adaptive capacity of an individual and can be resolved only by structural ...

REACTIVE ARTHRITIS

Rheumatic Disease Clinics of North America, 1998
Concepts about reactive arthritis are changing and must embrace consideration of the fact that bacteria or their products are present in the joint, not just at the portal of entry in the gastrointestinal (GI) or genitourinary (GU) tracts. With chlamydia-associated disease, atypical elementary bodies can be seen in synovium by electron microscopy, and ...

Reactive Arthritis

Infectious Disease Clinics of North America, 2017
Reactive arthritis is classified as a spondyloarthropathy. Current concepts of disease suggest an infectious trigger, followed by inflammatory arthritis. Several mechanisms have been proposed to explain the interaction of host susceptibility and microorganism.

Reactive Networks

2011
Networks strive to keep "all" of their nodes connected. However, is this really necessary? Do we actually need to "continuously" maintain routes from and to "any" possible destination? This chapter looks at networks that can discern between active and non-active paths.

Vascular reactivity

The American Journal of Cardiology, 1999
Endothelial dysfunction appears to be an integral aspect of the insulin resistance syndrome, independently of hyperglycemia. The ability of insulin to cause endothelium-derived nitric oxide (NO)-dependent vasodilation amplifies its overall effect of stimulating skeletal muscle glucose uptake and modulating vascular tone.
