LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Negative-Sequence Reactive Power Control and Active Power Control for DC/3ϕ Power Conversion Using Single-Delta Bridge-Cell (SDBC) Converter

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper focuses on a DC/ $3\phi $ power converter combining the single-delta bridge-cell (SDBC) converter and a single-phase PWM converter via a medium-frequency transformer for voltage flicker mitigation.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

An Improved Droop Control Strategy for Low-Voltage Microgrids Based on Distributed Secondary Power Optimization Control

open access: yesEnergies, 2017
To achieve accurate reactive power sharing and voltage frequency and amplitude restoration in low-voltage microgrids, a control strategy combining an improved droop control with distributed secondary power optimization control is proposed. The active and

Reactive Power Management through Inter Phase Power Controller

open access: yesInternational Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology (IJISRT)
Effective reactive power management is critical for maintaining voltage stability, improving power factor, and optimizing the efficiency of power systems. This study explores the application of an Inter Phase Power Controller (IPPC) for enhanced reactive power management in electrical grids. The primary objective is to investigate the capability of the

Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Optimal reactive power control in a converter station during low-power operation of HVDC

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
When the high-voltage DC (HVDC) system is operated in low-power transmission, the overplus of reactive power provided by AC filters may still exist apart from satisfying the need of the converter station, restricted by the minimum number of filter banks.

A novel two-stage distributed structure for reactive power control

open access: yesEngineering Science and Technology, an International Journal, 2020
In this paper, a new two-stage approach has been presented for the reactive power control of power systems. In the first stage, the transmission network is divided into several parts using a partitioning approach based on graph concept.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...
