Long-Term Stability of Children's Attitudes Toward Reading
The Journal of Educational Research, 1996The long-term stability of the construct of children's attitudes toward reading was examined. One hundred eighty-nine students in Grades 1-4 completed two administrations of the Elementary Reading Attitude Survey (ERAS) following a 3-year interval. Initially, reading attitudes were relatively positive and comparable to the standardization sample for ...

Back-Gate Controlled READ SRAM with Improved Stability
2005 IEEE International SOI Conference Proceedings, 2006We have presented a novel back-gate controlled UTSOI SRAM cell structure and associated design considerations. The proposed scheme offers improved stability compared with conventional 6T cell, and has less number of transistors than the conventional 10T cell.

Consistency and stability of gaze behavior when reading manga
Applied Cognitive Psychology, 2023AbstractManga, a Japanese comic, conveys contextual information about underlying stories based on the expression of a mixture of textual and pictorial elements. Two experiments were designed to assess whether individuals' eye movements when reading manga were consistent, independent of the specific materials, and stable over time. Experiment 1 examined

Thermal stability and read-write performance of AFC media
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2002The effect of the magnetic properties of the lower layer, of the antiferromagnetically coupled (AFC) media on thermal stability and the signal-to-noise ratio (S/sub 1F//N/sub d2F/) was studied using a Monte-Carlo simulation and the Langevin equation.

Stability and read/write characteristics of nano ferroelectric domains
Ferroelectrics, 2001Abstract The formation and characteristics of micron to sub-micron size domains aligned by atomic force microscope (AFM) tip in Pb(Zr, Ti)O3 (PZT) thin films are studied. The stability of the aligned domains is studied through the analysis of the retention characteristics.

6T SRAM cell analysis for DRV and read stability
Journal of Semiconductors, 2017The present paper analyzes the hold and read stability with temperature and aspect ratio variations. To reduce the power dissipation, one of the effective techniques is the supply voltage reduction. At this reduced supply voltage the data must be stable. So, the minimum voltage should be discovered which can also retain the data.

A Low Power SRAM Cell with High Read Stability
ECTI Transactions on Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Communications, 2009In this paper, a 9T static random access memory (SRAM) cell design which consumes less dynamic power and has high read stability is proposed. In conventional six transistor (6T) SRAM cell, read stability is very low due to the voltage division between the access and driver transistors during read operation.

Slope stability analysis and slide monitoring by inclinometer readings: Part 2
Mining Technology: Transactions of the Institutions of Mining and Metallurgy: Section A, 2004This part of the study covers the method of slope stability analysis and the necessary precautions to be taken to stop mass movement, the details of which have been given in the accompanying paper. Here, backfilling that was planned to provide support against the moving mass and the amount of coal to be left beneath the backfilling were examined. After

Fixation stability and reading speed in patients with newly developed macular disease*
Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics, 2004Abstract Background: Patients with macular disease and central scotomas must use a peripheral, preferred retinal locus (PRL) in place of their damaged fovea. This paper investigates the development of the PRL, with particular reference to the stability of fixation.
