Monitoring Gene Expression: Quantitative Real-Time RT-PCR
2013Two-step quantitative real-time RT-PCR (RT-qPCR), also known as real-time RT-PCR, kinetic RT-PCR, or quantitative fluorescent RT-PCR, has become the method of choice for gene expression analysis during the last few years. It is a fast and convenient PCR method that combines traditional RT-PCR with the phenomenon of fluorescence resonance energy ...

Avian Influenza Virus Detection and Quantitation by Real-Time RT-PCR
2014Real-time RT-PCR (rRT-PCR) has been used for avian influenza virus (AIV) detection since the early 2000s. This method has been applied to surveillance, outbreaks and research. Some of the advantages of rRT-PCR are high sensitivity, high specificity, rapid time to result, scalability, cost, and its inherently quantitative nature.

Detection and differentiation of Avian Metapneumovirus by Real Time Rt-PCR
2012Direct diagnosis of avian Metapneumovirus (AMPV) infections rely on molecular techniques more than on virus isolation due to the fastidious nature of the virus. Six real-time reverse transcription PCR (RRT-PCR) protocols for the detection and differentiation of AMPV subtype A and B were developed in N (two tests), F, SH (two tests) and G genes.

[Real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR)].
Annales Academiae Medicae Stetinensis, 2008The work present PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) with the real time analysis of the increase of product allowing quick detection, duplication and identification of even slight amounts of nucleic acids. Essential methods used in molecular diagnostics, based on marked probes and fluorescence phenomenon were discussed. Increased sensitivity of technology,
