Tough and Temperature‐Resistant Material Based on Bombyx mori Silk Fibroin
Advanced Science, EarlyView.We propose a biomimetic “Hydration‐Crystallization Locking” (HCL) strategy inspired by Bombyx mori spinning to enhance silk fibroin (SF) performance in extreme temperatures. A flexible fibroin membrane (FFM) shows high strength, toughness, and shape retention under −196°C and 70°C.
