Anticonvulsant activity of B2, an adenosine analog, on chemical convulsant-induced seizures. [PDF]
Epilepsy is a chronic neurological disorder characterized by recurrent seizures. However, approximately one-third of epilepsy patients still suffer from uncontrolled seizures. Effective treatments for epilepsy are yet to be developed. N (6)-(3-methoxyl-4-

Most in vitro cancer models lack cellular diversity, functional complexity, and clinical relevance. This work highlights the generation of an innovative dynamic tetraculture with autologous patient‐derived cells within a vascularized tumor‐on‐chip, as well as the recapitulation of endothelial anergy features induced by the tumor microenvironment ...

A protective role for the A1 adenosine receptor in adenosine-dependent pulmonary injury [PDF]
Adenosine is a signaling nucleoside that has been implicated in the regulation of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Adenosine signaling can serve both pro- and anti-inflammatory functions in tissues and cells. In this study we examined the contribution of A(1) adenosine receptor (A(1)AR) signaling to the pulmonary inflammation and ...

This review systematically examines the nanomechanical mechanisms of mussel‐inspired molecular interactions, primarily investigated by direct force measurement techniques such as surface forces apparatus and atomic force microscopy. The macroscopic adhesive and self‐healing performances of mussel‐inspired functional materials, including coacervates ...

Adenosine Receptor Agonists Modulate Visceral Hyperalgesia in the Rat
Background/Aims: Adenosine is an endogenous modulator of nociception. Its role in visceral nociception, particularly in visceral hyperalgesia, has not been studied.

The orphan receptor cDNA RDC7 encodes an A1 adenosine receptor. [PDF]
The extensive amino acid sequence conservation among G protein-coupled receptors has been exploited to clone new members of this large family by homology screening or by PCR. Out of four such receptor cDNAs we cloned recently, RDC7 corresponds to a relatively abundant transcript in the brain cortex, the thyroid follicular cell and the testis.

Collaborative Duality of CircGLIS3(2) RNA and Protein in human Wound Repair
CircGLIS3(2), a circRNA transiently upregulated in dermal fibroblasts during acute wound healing, is induced by IL‐1α and TGF‐β. Its RNA activates fibroblasts into matrix‐secreting cells, while its encoded protein enhances proliferation. The RNA stabilizes PCOLCE, and the protein interacts with BTF3, collectively accelerating wound repair. Abstract The

Targeting Adenosine A2b Receptor Promotes Penile Rehabilitation of Refractory Erectile Dysfunction
The mechanisms of adenosine and specific adenosine receptor subtypes in promoting penile rehabilitation remain unclear. Single‐cell RNA sequencing of human corpus cavernosum, adenosine deaminase (ADA) and adenosine receptors knock‐out mice (ADA−/−, A1−/−
