Bioinspired Claw‐Engaged Adhesive Microparticles Armed with γGC Alleviate Ulcerative Colitis via Targeted Suppression of Macrophage Ferroptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
γGC deficiency in ulcerative colitis drives macrophage ferroptosis‐mediated inflammation. Claw‐engaged microparticles armed with γGC (γGC‐MPs) enhance lesion targeting, promoting localized γGC release and tissue uptake. On the cover, Monkey King (Macrophages) was bound by the Immortal‐Binding Rope and subsequently sealed beneath the Five‐Fingered ...

The Long Noncoding RNA ΒFaar Promotes White Adipose Tissue Browning and Prevents Diet‐Induced Obesity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
βFaar selectively targets and inhibits the GTPase activity of the RAB18 protein, thereby reducing LD volume. Conversely, βFaar promotes nuclear translocation of the transcription factor IRF4 in inguinal white adipose tissue (iWAT), facilitating the browning of white adipose tissue and attenuating body fat accumulation.

Oral-to-rectum microbial transmission in orthopedic patients without a history of intestinal disorders

open access: yesFrontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology
The enrichment of oral taxa in the gut has recently been reported as a notable alteration in the microbial balance in patients with intestinal disorders. However, translocation in populations without such diseases remains controversial. In this study, we

The Role of CAF‐derived Vitronectin in Promoting Colorectal Cancer Progression and Immunosuppression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cancer‐associated fibroblast (CAF)‐derived VTN upregulates SLC6A8 expression in colorectal cancer (CRC) cells and macrophages through enhanced FAK phosphorylation. This modulation significantly increases the cellular uptake of creatine and ATP, promoting cancer progression and macrophage polarization.

Evaluation of the Versant CT/GC DNA 1.0 assay (kPCR) for the detection of extra-genital Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae infections.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2015
Screening for extra-genital Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae infections is a crucial component for sexually transmitted diseases management, even if at present days no commercial methods have been approved for use on pharyngeal and rectal ...

A Novel Class of Multi‐substituted Diaryl Scaffold Derivatives Inhibit Glioblastoma Progression by Targeting CD155

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Structural modification of clofoctol yielded a novel blood‐brain barrier‐permeable compound, B7, featuring a multi‐substituted diaryl scaffold. B7 demonstrates potent anti‐glioblastoma activity by suppressing glioblastoma stem cells proliferation, migration, and invasion through interactions with five key residues of poliovirus receptor cell adhesion ...
