Metastatic Unfunctional Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor in Lynch Syndrome

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Lynch syndrome (LS), a well‐known cancer risk syndrome, is caused by deleterious germline mutations in the mismatch repair genes. LS predispose patients to various types of cancers including colon adenocarcinoma. We discuss the case of a woman with LS who also developed a non‐functioning pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (P‐NET) following ...

Comorbidity and persistence of disease-modifying therapy use for relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis

open access: yes, 2020
Comorbidity may impact use of disease-modifying therapies (DMTs) among individuals with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS). Our objectives were to characterize the relationship between comorbidity and (1) persistence to initial DMT, (2) choice

Quality of life is decreased in persons with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis experiencing progression independent of relapse activity

open access: yes
Introduction: Reduced quality of life (QoL) is an early feature of multiple sclerosis (MS). The effect of progression independent of relapse activity (PIRA) on QoL is poorly investigated.

Quantitative MRI Biomarkers of Myelin: Cross‐Validation and Diagnostic Performance in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesNMR in Biomedicine, Volume 39, Issue 7, July 2026.
STAIR‐UTE, STAIR‐STE, and MT‐derived myelin biomarkers (MPF, MWF, MMF, MTR) strongly correlate in WM, gray matter, and MS lesions. All distinguish normal from abnormal tissue, though subtle differences suggest complementary information. Histological validation is needed to confirm specificity.
