SOLUTION REPERTOIRE

open access: yesDS 110: Proceedings of the 23rd International Conference on Engineering and Product Design Education (EPDE 2021), 2021
Research about design cognition acknowledges the importance of knowledge about exiting solutions. Designers tend to employ solution oriented thinking strategies; they generate idea’s starting from initial solutions - called primary generators; they are known to rely on episodic knowledge and precedent throughout the design process; and they iterate ...

The Human IgE Repertoire [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Archives of Allergy and Immunology, 2013
IgE is a key mediator in allergic diseases. However, in strong contrast to other antibody isotypes, many details of the composition of the human IgE repertoire are poorly defined. The low levels of human IgE in the circulation and the rarity of IgE-producing B cells are important reasons for this lack of knowledge.

The Shaping of the T Cell Repertoire [PDF]

open access: yesImmunity, 2001
By combining a TCRbeta transgene with a TCRalpha minilocus comprised of a single V and two J gene segments, we engineered a mouse line exhibiting ample but focused TCR diversity, restricted to CDR3alpha. Using single-cell PCR and high-throughput sequencing, we have exploited this system to scrutinize T cell repertoire selection and evolution.

Analyzing Immunoglobulin Repertoires [PDF]

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2018
Somatic assembly of T cell receptor and B cell receptor (BCR) genes produces a vast diversity of lymphocyte antigen recognition capacity. The advent of efficient high-throughput sequencing of lymphocyte antigen receptor genes has recently generated unprecedented opportunities for exploration of adaptive immune responses.

A «Repertoire for Repertoire» Hypothesis: Repertoires of Type Three Effectors are Candidate Determinants of Host Specificity in Xanthomonas

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2009
The genetic basis of host specificity for animal and plant pathogenic bacteria remains poorly understood. For plant pathogenic bacteria, host range is restricted to one or a few host plant species reflecting a tight adaptation to specific hosts. Two hypotheses can be formulated to explain host specificity: either it can be explained by the phylogenetic ...

Mapping what we know

open access: yesStridon, 2022
This article offers an outline of the literary translation flow from Turkish to Arabic between 1923 and 2005 based on a catalogue of translated literary works that were published in this period that was compiled for the purposes of this research.

SELECTION OF THE T CELL REPERTOIRE

open access: yesAnnual Review of Immunology, 1999
▪ Abstract  Advances in gene technology have allowed the manipulation of molecular interactions that shape the T cell repertoire. Although recognized as fundamental aspects of T lymphocyte development, only recently have the mechanisms governing positive and negative selection been examined at a molecular level.

Deep sequencing of the T cell receptor visualizes reconstitution of T cell immunity in mogamulizumab-treated adult T cell leukemia

open access: yesOncoImmunology, 2018
Although the anti-CCR4 antibody mogamulizumab (moga) shows striking antitumor activity against adult T cell leukemia (ATL), it can also cause fatal immunological pathology such as severe skin rash and graft-versus-host disease, which might be attributed ...

Next-Generation Immune Repertoire Sequencing as a Clue to Elucidate the Landscape of Immune Modulation by Host–Gut Microbiome Interactions

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2018
The human immune system is a fine network consisted of the innumerable numbers of functional cells that balance the immunity and tolerance against various endogenous and environmental challenges.

Evolution of T cell receptor beta loci in salmonids

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2023
T-cell mediated immunity relies on a vast array of antigen specific T cell receptors (TR). Characterizing the structure of TR loci is essential to study the diversity and composition of T cell responses in vertebrate species.
