Transport of Retinoids by the Interphotoreceptor Retinoid-binding Protein
Nutrition Reviews, 2009In the retina, the interphotoreceptor retinoid-binding protein shuttles retinoids between the retinal pigment epithelium and the rod outer segment. A molecular mechanism for this transport is proposed.
