Spatiotemporal Regulation of STING Activity by Linear Ubiquitination Governs Antiviral Immunity

This study uncovers a spatiotemporal regulation of STING activity by linear ubiquitination in antiviral immunity. At the early stage of the infection, LUBAC promotes STING linear ubiquitination to drive its trafficking from the ER to the Golgi apparatus for activation.

Type I Interferon Signaling Augments Autoimmunity in Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder

The cGAS‐STING innate immune pathway is excessively activated both in peripheral monocytes and CNS microglia in patients with NMOSD, leading to an overproduction of IFN‐I. IFN‐I subsequently acts on AQP4‐specific autoreactive T cells. Blocking this pathway may offer novel therapeutic options for individuals with NMOSD.

Parvalbumin Interneuron‐Dependent Hippocampal Neurogenesis Evoked by Prolonged Rhythmic Light Flicker

This study demonstrates that prolonged rhythmic 40 Hz light flicker enhances spatial learning by stimulating PV interneuron‐dependent neurogenesis.
