A dual‐atom catalyst with adjustable proximity effects is depicted, showing that variations in metal–metal interactions can modulate electronic structure, intermediate adsorption, and reaction pathways. These changes guide product selectivity in CO2 reduction and highlight design principles for efficient, tunable DAC systems.

We consider the Randall-Sundrum brane-world model with bulk-brane energy transfer where the Einstein-Hilbert action is modified by curvature correction terms: a four-dimensional scalar curvature from induced gravity on the brane, and a five-dimensional ...

An S‐scheme heterojunction between inorganic Al‐doped SrTiO3 (ASTO) with excellent oxidation ability and organic TpPa‐1‐COF with strong reduction ability was constructed, which achieved remarkable photocatalytic H2 evolution under simulated solar light irradiation, which is 14.2 and 11.4 times higher than that of pure TpPa‐1 and ASTO, respectively ...

ABSTRACT Background Bladder cancer (BCa) is the most common and representative type of adult urinary tract urothelial cancer, characterized by high incidence and mortality rates. It has become a major disease threatening public health, highlighting the urgent need for the development of comprehensive treatment strategies, including traditional Chinese ...

Partial Sigma Covalent Bonding in Transition Metals
This study demonstrates partial σ‐covalent bonding is a general electronic phenomenon spanning main‐group biradicals and d8–d8 transition‐metal systems (Co, Rh, Ir). The analyses in this study reveal that ligand field (Dimen and Lantern organic frameworks) and orbital symmetry govern metal–metal interactions, with different bonding expressions ...

Planar Chirality Controls Diastereotopicity in [2.2]Paracyclophanyl Cyclopropenes
In this work, we report the synthesis of [2.2]paracyclophane‐substituted cyclopropenes via rhodium‐catalyzed cyclopropenation using a pCp‐derived carbene precursor. The planar chiral framework induces diastereotopic differentiation of otherwise equivalent alkyl substituents, which is reflected in their 1H NMR spectra.

Cryptic post-transition state bifurcations that reduce the efficiency of lactone-forming Rh-carbenoid C-H insertions. [PDF]
Byproducts of chemical reactions are generally thought to result from the competition between two reaction pathways, each with its own rate-determining transition state structure.
