BackgroundSphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P) signals through G protein-coupled receptors to elicit a wide range of cellular responses. In CNS injury and disease, the blood-brain barrier is compromised, causing leakage of S1P from blood into the brain. S1P can

Cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in prostate tumors exhibit distinct morphomechanical traits vs normal fibroblasts, including greater stiffness and volume, more elongated stress fibres, and larger and more elongated nuclei. These features, quantified through imaging and real‐time deformability cytometry, correlate with patient outcomes and can be ...

RhoA is dispensable for axon guidance of sensory neurons in the mouse dorsal root ganglia
RhoA, a member of Rho family small GTPases, has been shown to play important roles in axon guidance. However, it remains unknown whether RhoA is actually required for any axon guidance events in vivo in the mammalian nervous system.

Cellpose+, a Morphological Analysis Tool for Feature Extraction of Stained Cell Images
We introduce Cellpose plus, a morphological and geometrical analysis tool for feature extraction of stained cell images built over Cellpose, a state‐of‐the‐art cell segmentation framework. We also introduce a dataset of DAPI and FITC stained cells to which our new method is applied.

Untangling the role of RhoA in the heart: protective effect and mechanism
RhoA (ras homolog family member A) is a small G-protein that transduces intracellular signaling to regulate a broad range of cellular functions such as cell growth, proliferation, migration, and survival.

Excitable RhoA dynamics drive pulsed contractions in the early C. elegans embryo
Pulsed actomyosin contractility underlies diverse modes of tissue morphogenesis, but the underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood. Here, we combine quantitative imaging with genetic perturbations to identify a core mechanism for pulsed ...

An 18‐month HFD successfully established a translational Macaca fascicularis model replicating key metabolic disorders (MASH, diabetes, cardiac hypertrophy). MASH was determined by liver biopsy histology, the presence steatosis, inflammatory infiltration, hepatocytic ballooning, and fibrosis were considered as MASH; diabetes was diagnosed according to ...
