Abstract Although seed represents an important means of plant pathogen dispersion, the seed–pathogen dialogue remains largely unexplored. A multiomic approach was performed at different seed developmental stages of common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) during asymptomatic colonization by Xanthomonas citri pv.

Discovery of pseudobaptigenin synthase in fungal‐infected Trifolium pratense roots
Significance Statement The discovery of pseudobaptigenin synthase in red clover (CYP76F319), catalyzing the formation of a methylenedioxy bridge to convert calycosin to pseudobaptigenin. The integration of metabolomic and transcriptomic datasets to describe the defense response in red clover roots to hemibiotrophic and necrotrophic fungi.

Studies on the synthesis of Rifamycin SV derivative [PDF]

Metabolism‐Based Biomarkers for Rapid Phenotypic Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing
Metabolic differences emerging after antibiotic exposure provide rapid phenotypic signals of susceptibility and resistance. This review summarizes metabolic biomarkers for rapid phenotypic AST, associated with nutrient uptake, respiratory activity, metabolic reprogramming, and enzymatic function. ABSTRACT The accelerating global crisis of antimicrobial

Identification of a cytochrome P450 hydroxylase gene involved in rifamycin biosynthesis by Amycolatopsis mediterranei S699 [PDF]
In analyzing the region of the Amycolatopsis mediterranei S699 chromosome responsible for the biosynthesis of the ansamycin antibiotic rifamycin, we identified a gene, designated orf0, which is located immediately upstream of the rifamycin polyketide ...

Quality by Design‐Based Development of a Robust LC Method for Simultaneous Estimation of Process‐ and Degradation‐Related Impurities in Rifapentine Drug Product for the Treatment of Active and Latent Tuberculosis [PDF]
ABSTRACT A precise, robust, and stability‐indicating liquid chromatographic (LC) method coupled with a photodiode array (PDA) detector was developed and validated for the quantitative estimation of rifapentine, an essential therapeutic agent for both active and latent tuberculosis (TB).
