Study on numerical analysis of dynamic parameters of mobile walking robot

open access: yesJournal of Mechanical Engineering and Sciences, 2020
A dynamic model of a walking robot is proposed for moving along surfaces of different topologies and orientations to the horizon. The principal difference between walking robot mechanisms is that they are made in the form of flexible pedipulators ...

Segmented capacitance tomography electrodes: a design and experimental verifications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A segmented capacitance tomography system for real-time imaging of multiphase flows is developed and pre-sented in this work. The earlier research shows that the electrical tomography (ECT) system is applicable in flow visualization (image reconstruction).

Prototype Development of a Parallel-Link Robot Actuated by Pneumatic Linear Drives with Variable Inclination Mechanisms

open access: yesInternational Journal of Automation Technology, 2014
Parallel-link robots are generally high in power and precision because of their parallel arrangement of actuators. However, they have a workspace smaller than that of serial-link robots. In this paper, we develop a parallel-link robot prototype with pneumatic linear drives in which a mechanism for varying the actuator inclination is incorporated to ...

Development of a Revolving Drive Mechanism for a Robot Manipulator by using Pneumatic Bellows Actuators with Force Sensing Ability.

open access: yesJournal of the Robotics Society of Japan, 1996
In this paper we describe a new coupled tendon-driven joint mechanism that uses pneumatic bellows actuators. With regard to the mechanism, frames are attached to shafts of the bellows actuators and are connected to one link arm with wire. By making pressure difference between one side chamber of the actuator and the other, the joint revolves.
