This research presents a novel 1,4‐π‐functionalized calix[6]arene with enhanced interactions with dialkylammonium axles. We investigate threading behavior in CDCl3, highlighting how exo‐rim π‐functionalization affects binding affinity and stereoselectivity.

A Redox-Controllable Molecular Switch Based on Weak Recognition of BPX26C6 at a Diphenylurea Station
The Na+ ion–assisted recognition of urea derivatives by BPX26C6 has allowed the construction of a redox-controllable [2]rotaxane-type molecular switch based on two originally very weakly interacting host/guest systems.

Heterovalent, Homometallic Rings: Synthesis, Optical, and EPR Studies of {TiIV7TiIII} Complexes
A new class of heterovalent, homometallic complexes is reported, based on cyclic {TiIV7TiIII} cores with oxide and carboxylate bridges between nearest neighbors. The clusters show Class II mixed‐valent behavior at room temperature, but are valence localized at low temperature.

The rotaxane architecture is a powerful tool to probe weak interactions. The interaction between the ring component and the axle components was estimated by quantitative conformational analysis of the rotaxanes by 1H NMR spectroscopy. Theoretical calculations revealed that C─H⋯N interactions and steric effects would be responsible for the preferred ...

Scaling Up Molecular Electron Spin Qubits Around a Core‐Shell Quantum Dot
Making assemblies of molecular nanomagnet (MNM) qubits is an essential step toward scalable quantum devices. Here, SH‐functionalized {Cr7Ni} antiferromagnetic rings with ability as MNM qubits were successfully grafted to the surface of fluorescent CdSe/ZnS quantum dots (QD).
