Determination of Isotretinoin by UV and RP-HPLC

International Research Journal of Multidisciplinary Scope
Isotretinoin content was accurately estimated using UV and RP-HPLC methods. A simple, sensitive double-beam spectrophotometric technique was determined for the assessment of Isotretinoin content in pure form as well as its formulations. Standard solution of Isotretinoin showed its highest absorbance at 354 nm.

The analysis of the fractions of free and liberated by hydrolysis phenolic acids in the fruits and the leaves of Pyracantha coccinea was conducted by TLC and RP-HPLC methods. In the fruits eight and in the leaves thirteen phenolic acids were identified.
