Peptides on Tap: Automated Flow Synthesis With Standard HPLC

open access: yesHelvetica Chimica Acta, EarlyView.
A standard analytical HPLC system is repurposed into a fully automated, flow‐based peptide synthesis platform. By leveraging the autosampler for automated reagent injections into a resin‐packed guard column, this highly accessible method enables rapid, temperature‐controlled coupling with real‐time UV monitoring, producing high‐purity peptides and ...

The Impact of Genetic Polymorphisms on Genotoxicity (DNA Damage) Among Children Exposed to Environmental Mutagens: A Systematic Review

open access: yesJournal of Applied Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Children, as a particularly vulnerable group, are more susceptible to these mutagens due to their developing immune systems, higher physiological vulnerability, and increased exposure through behaviors like outdoor play and hand‐to‐mouth activities. This review aims to investigate the relationship between these environmental exposures, genetic

Determination of Isotretinoin by UV and RP-HPLC

open access: yesInternational Research Journal of Multidisciplinary Scope
Isotretinoin content was accurately estimated using UV and RP-HPLC methods. A simple, sensitive double-beam spectrophotometric technique was determined for the assessment of Isotretinoin content in pure form as well as its formulations. Standard solution of Isotretinoin showed its highest absorbance at 354 nm.

Nanoplastics: Methods, Exposure and Effects on Domestic, Farm and Wild Animals

open access: yesJournal of Applied Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Nanoplastics (NPs) are synthetic polymer particles ranging in size from 1 nm to 1 μm that have been identified as a major concern for ecosystems and organisms due to their plethora of negative effects. The aim of this review is to provide a comprehensive overview of the knowledge relating to exposure and effects of NPs in domestic (i.e., farm ...

Production of recombinant human granulocyte‐macrophage colony‐stimulating factor in thermoinducible E. coli: Tuning inclusion body architecture and protein yield via dissolved oxygen control

open access: yesJournal of Chemical Technology &Biotechnology, EarlyView.
Abstract BACKGROUND Recombinant protein expression in Escherichia coli frequently results in the formation of inclusion bodies (IBs), which provide high protein accumulation but often require additional steps to recover functional protein. Although culture conditions strongly influence IB physicochemical and structural characteristics, the impact of ...

Stability of oxycodone in compound sodium lactate

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacy Practice and Research, EarlyView.
Abstract Background It is sometimes clinically desirable to administer oxycodone concurrently with compound sodium lactate via the same intravenous (IV) line; however, there are limited stability and compatibility data for this combination. Aim To determine the stability of oxycodone in compound sodium lactate IV solution.
