Antitumor Activity of Pt(II), Ru(III) and Cu(II) Complexes
Metal complexes are currently potential therapeutic compounds. The acquisition of resistance by cancer cells or the effective elimination of cancer-affected cells necessitates a constant search for chemical compounds with specific biological activities ...

Dithiocarboxylate complexes of ruthenium(ii) and osmium(ii)
The ruthenium(II) complexes [Ru(R)(κ(2)-S(2)C·IPr)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+) (R = CH=CHBu(t), CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4, C(C≡CPh)=CHPh) are formed on reaction of IPr·CS(2) with [Ru(R)Cl(CO)(BTD)(PPh(3))(2)] (BTD = 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole) or [Ru(C(C≡CPh)=CHPh)Cl(CO)(PPh(3))(2)] in the presence of ammonium hexafluorophosphate.

Complexes of ruthenium(II) and ruthenium(III) with tertiary arsines [PDF]
Abstract Ruthenium trichloride reacts with stoichiometric amounts of tertiary arsines in boiling ethanol to give paramagnetic complexes, RuCl 3 (Ph 2 RAs) 3 (R = Me, Et, Pr, Bu), which react further with 2,2′-bipyridyl(bipy) and o -phenanthroline(phen) to yield brick red crystalline products, RuCl 3 (N-N)(Ph 2 RAs) (N-N = bipy, phen).
