The S100 protein family in lung cancer

Clinica Chimica Acta, 2021
The S100 protein family is involved in the pathogenesis of several malignancies including lung cancer. Recent studies have shown that one member, S100A2, was over-expressed in advanced stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Another, S100A6, demonstrated variable expression in different lung cancer subtypes.
