Development of functional ectopic compound eyes in scarabaeid beetles by knockdown of orthodenticle [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Complex traits like limbs, brains, or eyes form through coordinated integration of diverse cell fates across developmental space and time, yet understanding how complexity and integration emerge from uniform, undifferentiated precursor tissues remains ...

Circadian control of interferon-sensitive gene expression in murine skin. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
The circadian clock coordinates a variety of immune responses with signals from the external environment to promote survival. We investigated the potential reciprocal relationship between the circadian clock and skin inflammation.

Cloning, sequencing and expression of the S1 gene of avian reovirus

open access: yesJournal of General Virology, 1995
The S1 genome segment of avian reovirus strain S1133 was cloned and completely sequenced. The sequence comprised 1636 bp with three distinct open reading frames (ORFs), suggesting the gene was polycistronic in nature. The three ORFs from 5' to 3' were predicted to encode polypeptides of 9.8, 3.8 and 34.9 kDa, respectively.

tRNA(Tyr) genes of Drosophila melanogaster: expression of single-copy genes studied by S1 mapping. [PDF]

open access: yesMolecular and Cellular Biology, 1988
Six Drosophila melanogaster tRNA(Tyr) genes have been isolated and sequenced. They contained introns of different sequences and two size classes: 20 or 21 base pairs (bp) (five genes) and 113 bp (one gene). However, the sequences coding for the mature tRNA(Tyr) were identical in all six genes.

Modules identification in gene positive networks of hepatocellular carcinoma using pearson agglomerative method and Pearson cohesion coupling modularity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this study, a gene positive network is proposed based on a weighted undirected graph, where the weight represents the positive correlation of the genes.

Analysis of a conserved cellulase transcriptional regulator reveals inducer-independent production of cellulolytic enzymes in Neurospora crassa. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Cellulose is recalcitrant to deconstruction to glucose for use in fermentation strategies for biofuels and chemicals derived from lignocellulose. In Neurospora crassa, the transcriptional regulator, CLR-2, is required for cellulolytic gene expression and

آنالیز توالی ژن S1 سویه های واکسینال برونشیت عفونی طیور(H120 & H52) و ارزیابی تاثیر پاساژهای متوالی در تخم مرغ جنین دار بر آنها [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Razi Institute, 2016

Insights on genetic characterization and pathogenesis of a GI-19 (QX-like) infectious bronchitis virus isolated in China

open access: yesPoultry Science, 2023
: Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) causes respiratory diseases in chickens, incurring great losses to the poultry industry worldwide. In this study, we isolated an IBV strain, designated as AH-2020, from the chickens vaccinated with H120 and 4/91 in ...

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Sequences at gene segment termini inclusive of untranslated regions and partial open reading frames play a critical role in mammalian orthoreovirus S gene packaging.

open access: yesPLoS Pathogens
Mammalian orthoreovirus (MRV) is a prototypic member of the Spinareoviridae family and has ten double-stranded RNA segments. One copy of each segment must be faithfully packaged into the mature virion, and prior literature suggests that nucleotides (nts)
