This study applies machine learning regression to predict chromium layer thickness in decorative trivalent chromium electroplating, using 441 experiments from laboratory‐scale (1L) and pilot‐scale (14L) setups. Tree‐based models, particularly CatBoost, outperformed linear regression by capturing nonlinear parameter interactions (R2$R^2$ up to 0.77 ...

As presented in the graphical abstract, it depicts an image of a terahertz photonic crystal fiber (THz‐PCF) sensor with a polygonal shape in the core, which is filled with an analyte, and air slots in the cladding. The THz waves will travel through the fiber, and due to increased light‐matter interaction in the sensing region, changes in refractive ...

Physical Properties of Nanostructured CdO Films from Alkaline Baths Containing Saccharin as Additive
Nanostructured cadmium oxide (CdO) films were fabricated on glass substrates from alkaline baths containing saccharin as an additive by a successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction (SILAR) method. The effects of saccharin concentration in the bath on

On the importance of including both sexes in animal studies – insights from home‐cage monitoring
ABSTRACT A review of behavioural studies using home‐cage monitoring (HCM) systems revealed that over 61% of studies used only male subjects, with only 24% including both sexes, despite evidence of substantial behavioural differences between male and female animals. This bias could influence the outcomes of biomedical research.

Nitrooxylation—the installation of nitrate esters (–ONO2) has evolved from classical mixed‐acid protocols to catalytic and mechano‐, flow‐, photo‐, and electrochemical strategies. This review delineates ionic and radical manifolds for C–ONO2 bond formation, emphasizing mechanistic control, selected substrate scope, and selectivity.

Drinking Water with Saccharin Sodium Alters the Microbiota-Gut-Hypothalamus Axis in Guinea Pig
The effects of saccharin, as a type of sweetener additive, on the metabolism and development of mammals are still controversial. Our previous research revealed that saccharin sodium (SS) promoted the feed intake and growth of guinea pigs.

Stereoselective Construction of Benzo‐Fused Tetrahydropyrrole Thiazines From Saccharin
Saccharin was used as a template to construct a series of 10a‐substituted, benzo‐fused, pyrrolo thiazinone dioxides. Thereafter, diastereo‐divergent 10‐keto reduction gave either diastereomeric alcohol in a process that did not rely on the substituent at 10a's identity.
