The Dietary Fats: A Comprehensive Study about the Influence of Different Types of Fats on General Health and Developing Diseases

open access: yesQuality in Sport
Introduction and Purpose: One of the main reasons for the increased risk of non-communicable diseases is improper dietary habits. In recent years, studies on the composition and nutritional value of the diet have been intensively developed to establish ...

Protection and Delivery of Phytochemicals from Passive Encapsulation to Guaranteed Self‐Assembly Induced by Amyloid Template for Chronic Disease Prevention via Modulating Microbial‐Host Crosstalk

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The rising incidence of chronic diseases globally has drawn widespread attention to phytochemicals, which exert targeted preventive and alleviating effect by modulating gut microbiota; thus, a potential strategy for precision nutritional interventions is offered.

Ultrasound Controlled‐Release Hydrogel Promotes Diabetic Wound Healing via Neuroimmune Modulation and Synergistic ROS Scavenging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents an ultrasound‐responsive hydrogel (MCF@CA) that co‐delivers a neuropeptide (CGRP) and a ROS‐scavenging manganese porphyrin to diabetic wounds. The system restores neuro‐immune communication, reprograms macrophages toward an anti‐inflammatory phenotype, and clears excess ROS, thereby accelerating wound closure and promoting mature ...

Enhancing low-fat frankfurter texture and sensory properties with almond protein emulsion gels

open access: yesFood Chemistry: X
Health concerns related to saturated fats intake have encouraged efforts to reduce or replace animal fat in meat products. Direct substitution of saturated fats with liquid vegetable oils often compromises texture and processing stability. Emulsion gels (

Spatially Resolved Multiomics Reveals Metabolic Remodeling and Autophagy Activation in Adamantinomatous Craniopharyngiomas

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Multiomics integration analysis reveals the “cystic fluid–tumor cell” metabolic coupling that mediates active choline/ethanolamine uptake of tumor cells from cystic fluid and PC/PE synthesis pathways reprogramming that mediating autophagy pathway activation within ACP. ABSTRACT Adamantinomatous craniopharyngioma (ACP), a benign yet highly recurrent and

Dietary Lipids and Cancer

open access: yesLibyan Journal of Medicine, 2007
For many years, epidemiological studies continued to suggest that high fat diets are linked to an increased incidence of certain cancers. However, whether the oncogenic properties of fat are associated with their quantity rather than the quality has ...

4‐Hydroxybenzyl Alcohol Mitigates Hyperlipidemia‐Associated Depression by Inhibiting Neuroinflammation via the NKIRAS2/NF‐κB Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
4‐HBA upregulates NKIRAS2 levels, inhibiting the activation of the NF‐κB pathway and subsequently reducing the levels of neuroinflammatory markers. This modulation helps restore normal mood and behavior in hyperlipidemic conditions, providing a potential therapeutic strategy for managing hyperlipidemia‐associated depression.
