2017 29th Chinese Control And Decision Conference (CCDC), 2017In this paper, for automobile semi-active suspension in rough road, the problems of random modeling and control are considered. First, dynamics model is constructed assuming the road being flat. According to the dynamic-static method and the relative-motion principle, the road irregularities is transformed to disturbance to the control.

KALMAN FILTERING IN SEMI-ACTIVE SUSPENSION CONTROL
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2002Abstract This paper focuses on estimation of the vertical velocity of the vehicle chassis and the relative velocity between chassis and wheel. These velocities are important variables in semi-active suspension control. A model-based estimator is proposed including a Kalman filter and a non-linear model of the damper.
