Milk Fat Globule Membrane Supplementation Attenuates Cognitive Impairment in APP/PS1 Mice via Suppressing Neuroinflammation in a Gut Microbiota‐Mediated Serum Resolvin D1/Anandamide Manner

open access: yesFood Frontiers, Volume 7, Issue 2, March 2026.
MFGM modulated gut microbiota accompanied by the increased serum RVD1 and AEA levels, which subsequently regulated the miRNA profile. This modulation alleviated neuroinflammation via suppressing the NLRP3 inflammasome signaling and microglial activation, thereby attenuating AD‐related cognitive impairment both in vivo and in vitro.

Ginseng Volatile Oil Alleviates Loperamide‐Induced Constipation in Mice by Regulating the Microbiota/Metabolism/Neural Network

open access: yesFood Frontiers, Volume 7, Issue 2, March 2026.
GVO relieves constipation mechanisms. GVO decreased the abundance of Firmicutes and increased that of Bacteroidota, thereby ameliorating Lop‐induced gut microbial imbalances. Then the level of 8,9‐DiHETrE was raised, whereas the level of 15(S)‐HpETE was lowered.

Serotonin syndrome

Drug and Therapeutics Bulletin, 2022
The serotonin syndrome is a life-threatening adverse drug reaction resulting from excess serotonergic agonism due to interactions between multiple drugs, poisoning, or less commonly due to therapeutic action of a single drug. The central triad of features in serotonin syndrome are altered mental state, autonomic hyperactivity, and neuromuscular ...

SEROTONIN SYNDROME

Critical Care Clinics, 1997
Serotonin syndrome is a potentially life-threatening complication of psychopharmacologic drug therapy. The syndrome is produced most often by the concurrent use of two or more drugs that increase brainstem serotonin activity and is often unrecognized because of the varied and nonspecific nature of its symptomatology. Serotonin syndrome is characterized

Serotonin syndrome

Neurology, 1995
We describe a patient treated with trazodone, isocarboxazid, and methylphenidate hydrochloride who developed confusion, agitation, poor concentration, rigidity, myoclonus, involuntary movements, orthostatic hypotension, and hyperreflexia. CK was normal, and the syndrome resolved spontaneously over 12 hours.
