Data from Activated Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription (STAT) 3

Abstract
Constitutive activation of the Janus-activated kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) pathway promotes the proliferation and survival of cancer cells in culture and is associated with various cancers, including those of the ovary.

SD-1029 Inhibits Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 3 Nuclear Translocation [PDF]
Abstract Purpose: Signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (Stat3) proteins have important roles in cancer cell survival and proliferation. Recent studies show that aberrant Stat3 activation promotes tumor growth and survival in several human cancers, and thus, presents an attractive pathway for the development of targeted ...

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Pregnancy-associated cardiac dysfunction and the regulatory role of microRNAs. [PDF]
Many crucial cardiovascular adaptations occur in the body during pregnancy to ensure successful gestation. Maladaptation of the cardiovascular system during pregnancy can lead to complications that promote cardiac dysfunction and may lead to heart ...

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Targeting colorectal cancer via its microenvironment by inhibiting IGF-1 receptor-insulin receptor substrate and STAT3 signaling. [PDF]
The tumor microenvironment (TME) exerts critical pro-tumorigenic effects through cytokines and growth factors that support cancer cell proliferation, survival, motility and invasion.
