The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

Ultrasonic Evaluation of Transient Liquid Phase Bonding in Single Crystal Superalloy Castings
Transient liquid phase bonding (TLPB) is an effective means for joining high performance metal components. It differs from welding and conventional brazing in that it produces very little chemical segregation or microstructural demarcation at the bond ...

Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Single Event Effect Characteristics Analysis of Typical Circuit Elements in Spacecraft Power Systems
Single event effect occurs when a single energetic particle penetrates sensitive nodes and deposits enough charge by ionization in semiconductor devices. It has become a major reliability concern for spaceflight.

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Characterization of the mechanisms affecting single-event transients in sub-100 nm technologies
As transistor density increases with each new CMOS technology node, the probability of a single ion causing a single-event transient in a circuit or inducing charge sharing among transistors increases.
