Dans cet article, on souhaite situer et examiner le débat méthodologique proposé par l'École de Cambridge au sujet de l'histoire de la pensée politique dans les quatre dernières décennies, tout en insistant sur les positions de Quentin Skinner et les ...

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

On a Theorem of Ono and Skinner
Let \(g(z)=\sum_{n\geq 0} c(n) q^n\) be a Hecke eigenform of half-integral weight with algebraic integer coefficients. In 1998, \textit{K. Ono} and \textit{C. Skinner} [Ann. Math. (2) 147, 453-470 (1998; Zbl 0907.11017)] showed that if a certain condition holds (``\(g(z)\) is good''), then for all but finitely many rational primes \(\ell\) there exist ...

Structure‐forward targeting of claudins with synthetic binders
Claudins form the paracellular barriers between epithelial and endothelial tissues at tight junctions and are targets for molecular binders with the goal of modulating barrier permeability. Claudin‐binding molecules are relevant in drug delivery or in altering claudin interactions with disease‐causing proteins.

The microbiome in human skin aging
Age‐related skin changes encompass the well‐known visible phenotypic alterations, together with microbiome dysbiosis and a series of molecular aging hallmarks. These hallmarks characterize not only a fully stablished aged phenotype but also the skin aging process itself.

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

SKINNER, POPPER E O SUPOSTO ESTATUTO DETERMINISTA DO COMPORTAMENTALISMO RADICAL
A relação entre Comportamentalismo Radical e determinismo é anunciada por Skinner e diversos comentadores de sua obra. Contudo, há alguns autores que questionam essa relação, defendendo que a ciência do comportamento skinneriana estaria mais próxima do ...

Circulating microRNAs as biomarkers of cachexia and sex‐specific cancer in senior dogs. In 25 client‐owned dogs, four circulating miRNAs (miR‐15a, miR‐15b, miR‐16, miR‐140) were downregulated in cachexia, with miR‐16 the strongest individual biomarker (AUC = 0.899).
