High‐Order Sliding‐Mode control for MIMO Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper extends Lyapunov‐based homogeneous high‐order sliding‐mode control to a class of uncertain non‐square multi‐input multi‐output (MIMO) nonlinear systems with a well‐defined vector relative degree. The considered systems admit a normal‐form representation with an uncertain but full‐row‐rank input‐gain matrix.

Gradient‐ and Newton‐Based Unit Vector Extremum Seeking Control

open access: yesInternational Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper proposes new methods for stable and efficient convergence in multivariable extremum seeking control (ESC) using sliding mode techniques. Inspired by classical sliding modes and finite‐time control, the approach integrates these ideas into gradient‐ and Newton‐based ESC schemes with sinusoidal perturbations.

Sliding Mode Control and Observation for Upper Limb Robotics Rehabilitation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Stroke is a leading cause of upper limb motor impairments, which often require rehabilitation. General purpose robotic manipulators enable effective therapy through exercises such as Center Out Point‐to‐Point (CO‐PTP) and Teach‐and‐Track (TT), which respectively demand accurate estimation and rejection of the interaction force exerted by the ...

Control Technology of Ground-Based Laser Communication Servo Turntable via a Novel Digital Sliding Mode Controller

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
In this study, a sliding mode control (SMC) algorithm was proposed based on a novel reaching law to solve the nonlinear disturbance problem of a ground-based laser communication turntable. This algorithm is a chatter-free method, in which the coefficient

Bursting Oscillation Characteristics and Improved AHODFC for DFIG and PMSG Combined Wind Farm

open access: yesEnergy Internet, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Bursting oscillations occur in DFIG and PMSG combined wind farm under external disturbances and lead to the instability problems. To reveal the bursting oscillation characteristics and develop a suppression method, a fast‐slow dynamics analysis method and an improved adaptive high‐order differential feedback controller (AHODFC) based on ...

Performance Comparison Between Sliding Mode Control (Smc) And Pd-Pid Controllers For A Nonlinear Inverted Pendulum System

open access: yes, 2010
The objective of this paper is to compare the time specification performance between conventional controller PID and modern controller SMC for an inverted pendulum system. The goal is to determine which control strategy delivers better performance with respect to pendulum-s angle and cart-s position.

MD‐1 Deficiency Mitigates Atherosclerosis by Inhibiting NLRP3 Inflammasome Activation via cGAS‐STING Dependent Pathway in Macrophages

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
MD‐1 is induced and activated in macrophages. The activated MD‐1 subsequently promotes the cGAS‐STING‐TBK1‐IRF3 signalling pathway to activate the NLRP3 inflammasome, and subsequently increases pro‐inflammatory macrophage polarisation and decreases plaque stability to accelerate the development of atherosclerosis.
