Forms of Slow Learner Student Interaction in Elementary Schools

open access: yesJurnal Elementaria Edukasia
This research is motivated by social interactions among slow-learner students in elementary schools. The intellectual capacity of slow learner students is low, and the affective aspects of these students in their relationships or social interactions are also hampered.

Analysis of mathematical concept comprehension ability in slow learners students

open access: yesUnion: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Matematika
Mathematical comprehension is a fundamental skill that plays a crucial role in understanding and solving problems across various mathematical topics. This study aims to analyze the mathematical comprehension abilities of slow learners in the SPLDV (Two-Variable Linear Equation System) material.

Modelling stem cell differentiation related processes—A practical overview for biologists

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Stem cell differentiation is complex and difficult to control experimentally. This review introduces suitable computational modelling approaches that can support stem cell research, from mechanistic ODE and abstract models to multiscale and deep learning methods.

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...

Profile of Children with Special Needs of the Slow Learner Variety SMP Madura

open access: yesInternational Journal of Social Science and Religion, 2023
Slow Learner is part of one of the children with special needs but still above disability. This study aims to determine the profile of slow-learning children commonly called slow learners in one of the junior high schools in Madura. This research uses a

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.
