ABSTRACT Doxorubicin‐induced cardiomyopathy (DIC) remains a dose‐limiting clinical challenge. This study reveals that cardiac vascular endothelial cells (CVECs) act as initial sensors of doxorubicin cardiotoxicity: circulating doxorubicin activates the cGAS‑STING pathway in CVECs, triggering NLRP3 inflammasome‑mediated pyroptosis and release of ...

This study uncovers that quercetin naturally targets mitochondria. By coordinating quercetin with Fe3+, we engineer an ultrasmall cascade nanozyme (MCN) with superoxide dismutase‐catalase activities. MCN crosses the damaged blood–brain barrier, scavenges mitochondrial ROS, prevents mitochondrial DNA leakage, and blocks the cGAS‐STING pathway, thereby ...

Fangchinoline is identified as a small‐molecule DNGR‐1 modulator that enhances dendritic‐cell cross‐presentation of tumor antigens. By engaging DNGR‐1 and activating Syk–Nox2 signaling, it promotes phagosomal ROS, antigen escape, MHC‐I presentation, and CD8+ T‐cell priming, thereby strengthening antitumor immunity and sensitizing tumors to PD‐1 ...

The soluble Interleukin 6 receptor: Generation and role in inflammation and cancer
Soluble cytokine receptors are frequently found in human serum, most of them possessing antagonistic properties. The Interleukin 6 receptor (IL-6R) is found as a transmembrane protein on hepatocytes and subsets of leukocytes, but soluble isoforms of the IL-6R (sIL-6R) are generated by alternative splicing or by limited proteolysis of the ADisintegrin ...

Versatile Detection of Cellular Protein via Fluorescence Anisotropy
Cell Lysate Fluorescence Anisotropy (CFAST) utilizes long lifetime dye‐labeled nanobodies for rapid protein quantification in minimally purified, complex cell lysate. When coupled with cellular thermal shift, CFAST allows high‐throughput detection of endogenous protein‐small molecule engagement, facilitating the discovery of novel binders for ...

Important Role of the IL-32 Inflammatory Network in the Host Response against Viral Infection
The pro-inflammatory cytokine interleukin (IL)-32 has gained much attention recently because of its important role in the inflammatory network. Since the discovery of IL-32 in 2005, our appreciation for its diverse roles continues to grow. Recent studies

Nanomaterials offer dual applications in allergy management. For diagnosis, nanomaterials enhance analytical sensitivity and improve detection in specific IgE and functional assays such as the basophil activation test (BAT). For allergen‐specific immunotherapy, nanomaterials enable allergen masking and controlled release, and effectively modulate the ...

A fully synthetic four‐component vaccine has been developed combining Tn antigen, vizantin (Mincle agonist), rhamnose (antibody recruitment), and mannose (CD206 targeting). By synergistically activating Mincle, FcγR, and CD206 pathways, it elicits strong IgG switching and cytotoxic T‐cells, significantly inhibiting tumors in mice.
