Association of soluble PD-L1 (sPD-L1) with decreased survival in metastatic melanoma.

Journal of Clinical Oncology, 2017
4 Background: Membrane expression of PD-L1 on tumor cells is associated with poor survival in patients with advanced malignancies including metastatic melanoma (MM). In addition, tumor-associated PD-L1 has been proposed as a predictor of response to anti-PD-1 therapy, although responses are observed in some cases of PD-L1 negative MM.

Soluble Programmed Cell Death Ligand-1 (sPD-L1) Levels in Various Cancer Types and Normal Populations

Clinical Laboratory, 2023
To date, PD-L1 expression in tumor tissue, assessed by immunohistochemical stain, is clinically applicable as a predictive companion biomarker for PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor which has been highlighted over the past several years. Before blood-based sPD-L1 enters clinical use, it is critical to establish the reference range.

AB0105 CHECKPOINT MOLECULES AND PREGNANCY: ENHANCED SPD-L1 PREDICTS FLARE IN RA PREGNANCY AND POSTPARTUM

Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases, 2020
Background: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a female-predominant autoimmune disease that may affect women in childbearing age, making family planning an important issue for their life. There is a need for better understanding the mechanisms modulating RA in pregnancy and develop prognostic marker regarding adverse pregnancy outcome such as reduced birth ...

sPD-L1 and sPD-L2 in plasma of patients with lung cancer and their clinical significance

Cytokine
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death worldwide. We aim here to determine the soluble programmed death ligand-1 (sPD-L1) and soluble programmed death ligand-2 (sPD-L2) levels in the plasma of patients with lung cancer and evaluate the clinical significance.Plasma samples from 95 lung cancer patients and 55 healthy donors were collected, and ...

[Levels and Clinical Significances of sPD-1 and sPD-L1 in Peripheral Blood of Lymphoma Patients].

Zhongguo shi yan xue ye xue za zhi, 2023
To observe the levels of soluble programmed cell death protein 1 (sPD-1) and soluble programmed cell death ligand 1 (sPD-L1) in peripheral blood of lymphoma patients, and reveal their clinical significances. The peripheral blood specimens and clinical data of 64 newly diagnosed lymphoma patients and 30 healthy volunteers were collected.

Soluble Ligand of the Immune Checkpoint Receptor (sPD-L1) in Blood Serum of Patients with Renal Cell Carcinoma

Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2019
The content of the soluble ligand of the immune checkpoint receptor (sPD-L1) was determined in the blood serum of 106 patients with renal cell carcinoma and 11 patients with benign kidney tumors by direct ELISA (Human sPD-L1 Platinum ELISA; Affimetrix, eBioscience). The control group included 19 healthy men and 18 women.

Prognostic Value of Soluble Programmed Cell Death Ligand-1 (sPD-L1) in Various Cancers: A Meta-analysis

Targeted Oncology, 2020
The prognostic value of soluble programmed cell death ligand-1 (sPD-L1) in patients with cancer has been inconsistent across previous studies. This meta-analysis aimed to investigate the prognostic significance of sPD-L1 in human tumors.A comprehensive search of PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, and Cochrane databases from inception to January 6, 2020 was

High levels of the soluble programmed death-ligand (sPD-L1) identify hepatocellular carcinoma patients with a poor prognosis

Zeitschrift für Gastroenterologie, 2015
Immunotherapy in cancer is a recent and very promising approach, namely the inhibition of the PD/programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) axis. Here we aimed to investigate the prognostic value of a soluble form of PD-L1 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients.HCC patients were prospectively recruited and soluble programmed death-ligand 1 (sPD-L1) levels ...

Soluble forms of PD-1 and sPD-L1/2 in serum and urine of patients with head and neck cancer and their clinical significance

Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Reviews, 2023
This study explored the soluble forms of PD-1 and sPD-L1/2 in serum and urine of patients with head and neck cancer (HNCs) and associated the data with clinical state and 5-year survival. The sPD-1 and sPD-L1/2 levels were evaluated by ELISA in sufferers (N=110) and normal controls (N=82).

Serum sPD-1 and sPD-L1 as Biomarkers for Evaluating the Efficacy of Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in Triple-Negative Breast Cancer Patients

Clinical Breast Cancer, 2019
Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) is widely administered in the primary treatment of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). However, serum biomarkers for evaluating or monitoring the curative efficacy of NAC have not been established. Accumulating data have shown that soluble programmed death 1 (sPD-1) and its ligand (sPD-L1) might be potential biomarkers ...
