The title compound, a triarylmethanol, C46H64OS12Si3 1, was synthesized via lithiation of tris-2,2,6,6-tetramethylbenzo[1,2-d;4,5-d′]bis[1,3]dithiol-4-yl-methanol, 2, and electrophilic quenching with trimethylsilyl chloride. The current crystal structure

Clusters of Spin Valve Sensors in 3D Magnetic Field of a Label
Magnetic field sensors based on the giant magnetoresistance (GMR) effect have a number of practical current and future applications. We report on a modeling of the magnetoresistive response of moving spin-valve (SV) GMR sensors combined in certain ...

Low-temperature librations and dynamical transition in proteins at differing hydration levels
Hydration of water affects the dynamics and in turn the activity of biomacromolecules. We investigated the dependence of the librational oscillations and the dynamical transition on the hydrating conditions of two globular proteins with different ...

Spin-Labeled Neurospora Mitochondria
Spin-label studies were carried out on Neurospora mitochondria under in vivo and in vitro labeling conditions. A long-chained spin-labeled fatty acid was incorporated by Neurospora and was found in mitochondrial phospholipids. The molecular motion at various temperatures was different from that for the same spin label under in vitro labeling conditions.
