The association between baseline neutrophil‐to‐lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and severe checkpoint inhibitor pneumonitis (CIP) was analyzed in discovery retrospective and validation prospective cohorts. Higher baseline NLR (≥ 4.75) was associated with increased severe CIP incidence in both cohorts.
