Occupational Exposure to Nickel and Cobalt From Hairdressing Tools: A Cross‐Sectional Study in 58 Danish Salons

Contact Dermatitis, EarlyView.
Spot testing of 266 metallic tools across 58 Danish hair salons revealed that 13.9% released nickel and 6.8% released cobalt. This ongoing occupational exposure during routine wet work highlights the urgent need for safer tool materials and stricter regulatory oversight to protect hairdressers.

Stratum Corneum Biomarkers for Differentiating Irritant and Allergic Contact Dermatitis

From 126 patients with irritant or allergic contact dermatitis of the hands, stratum corneum tape strips from patch test sites and lesional hand skin were collected and analysed for barrier and immune biomarkers, and machine learning models were trained to separate ICD from ACD.

The different face of skin‐rash induced by brentuximab vedotin

Summary Background: Brentuximab vedotin (BV) is a targeted therapy for CD30‐expressing lymphomas, including Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and cutaneous T‐cell lymphoma (CTCL). While peripheral neuropathy is the most common adverse event, BV‐induced skin rashes are less frequent and not well characterized.
